IHC Engineering Croatia

IHC Engineering Croatia d.o.o. specialises in comprehensive design and engineering services for ship owners and shipyards.

IHC Engineering Croatia

IHC Engineering Croatia (IEC) is a subsidiary of Dutch-based company Royal IHC, which is a global provider of maritime equipment, vessels and services in the dredging, offshore and mining industries.

Croatia has a long-standing tradition in the shipbuilding sector. As a result, IEC is perfectly positioned to develop the talented local engineering skills vital to continually delivering exceptional professional standards in the global maritime industry.

In addition to collaborating with IHC, IEC actively works for external customers and other partners to continually develop our expertise in the cruise ship sector and specialist equipment engineering.

Our offices in Rijeka and Pula

Our main office is based in Rijeka, which is the third-largest city in Croatia. As the country’s principle seaport, it has an extensive history of shipbuilding and is also a desirable place to live.

Due to our rapid expansion in the country and commitment to delivering localised services, IHC Engineering Croatia also has a branch office in the picturesque city of Pula. The largest city in the Istria region, it is also known for its long-standing heritage in the shipbuilding industry.

Our people

Employees at IEC benefit from working in a modern, ergonomically designed office environment, built on professionalism, mutual respect and strong teamwork. IEC offers high-end benefits and invests in its employees’ knowledge and career development. Within this, we have allowances for extra health checks, as well as personal accident and travel insurance for employees, as their wellbeing is one of our top priorities.

IEC has ambitious growth plans and an international orientation. IHC employees have the opportunity to study and work in The Netherlands, UK, Germany, Malaysia and around the world with IHC’s International Exchange Programme. It is not all work either, as we have an active social scene with employees able to take part in yoga, football and other vital teambuilding activities.

Vacancies

IEC has over 100 employees and, with more than 10 years’ experience in the industry, the organisation continues to go from strength to strength.

We are continuously hiring naval and mechanical engineers, who want to develop themselves in basic design/construction or detailed design (hull, piping, outfitting, HVAC etc).

Detailed below are the latest opportunities available at both IEC locations in Rijeka and Pula:
