As Proposal Engineer you will be responsible for creating basic designs, calculations and tenders.

In this role you will assist in the specification, design and dimensioning of electrical drive systems.
You will mainly focus on collecting information on customers and suppliers, in cooperation with the Lead Engineers. This should result in a correct and financially substantiated calculation and specification for the purpose of delivering the bids. 

You will liaise with the Purchasing and Engineering Departments, and will be responsible for compiling and recording of specifications, calculations, documentation and costs.
 

Your profile

To be eligible for this position, you must have the following:

  • an HBO level of technical education, preferably in electrical engineering 
  • experience in the maritime and offshore industry
  • knowledge of calculation methods, and the preparation of budgets and tenders
  • the ability to work under pressure, with accuracy and conviction
  • a practical goal-oriented attitude and the passion to work in a growing organisation
  • a creative nature and customer-oriented attitude
  • excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, both spoken and written
  • only candidates with valid EU work visa will be considered as viable candidates
