Goals assigment or thesis:
- make a model description of an existing gas spring model
- use measurement results to validate the model
- improve the model with the validation results
These springs are compressed and decompressed during every stroke of the hammer. This is a highly dynamic process. The behavior of the springs is very important for the functioning of the hammer. A matlab-simulink model of these springs is already available.
Extensive measurements to measure the behavior of these springs are executed in the past. The measurement results can be used to validate the model and improve it if necessary.

- model description
- model validation
- model improvement.
To be eligible for this position, you must have the following:
- excellent communication skills spoken and written in English
- only candidates with work visa will be considered as viable candidates

- proven experience with matlab-simulink
