As an Article Administrator, you will work in the Engineering Shipbuilding department of Royal IHC, as well as for our whole supply chain. This department engineers complex custom-built and standard offshore and dredging vessels. The team you will join focuses on Beavers® – our standard cutter suction dredgers (CSDs) – and smaller custom-built CSDs. The Beaver® team currently consists of Naval Architecture Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Dredging Equipment Specialists, Hydraulic Engineers, Piping Engineers and Electrical Engineers. As the Article Administrator, you will be responsible for the management of the articles within the ERP system. This covers standard articles and project components for the Beavers® and custom-built CSDs.
You will work closely with the Engineering, Procurement, Work Preparation and Production teams. Together with the whole supply chain, you will make sure that the purchasing of all the equipment is going smoothly and is delivered in a timely manner through the ERP system.
To be eligible for the role of Article Administrator (Beavers®), you must have:
- a secondary vocational education (MBO) or a bachelor degree (HBO)
- excellent knowledge of ERP systems, preferably MARS
- an understanding of technical and engineering sectors
- an insight into procurement and production processes
- a proactive and team player approach
- excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- a high level of accuracy, and the ability to plan and manage different tasks
- excellent communication skills with a strong command of Dutch and English
- the ability to work in Kinderdijk but also occasionally in Krimpen aan den IJssel.
