After Robbins Technology Group (RTG) joined forces with Royal IHC in November 2015 and strengthened its position on the West Coast of Australia last year, IHC Robbins has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of IHC.

This move proves IHC’s commitment to the mining industry, and further confirms its added value throughout the mining life-cycle. This decision both strengthens IHC’s business interests in the mineral processing market and IHC Robbins’ ability to deliver fixed cost turnkey projects.

John Feenan has been appointed as Managing Director of IHC Robbins and will direct its activities from the company’s head office in Brisbane, Australia. John brings many years of experience in resource project developments to the role. He is tasked with growing IHC Robbins and consolidating its market position in the Australasian region.

“We are happy that we now can fully benefit from each other’s strengths and can further intensify our cooperation,” says Henk van Muijen, Managing Director of IHC Mining. “By uniting IHC’s dredge mining expertise, and IHC Robbins as the heavy minerals specialist, we show our continuity towards growth and innovation.”

Integrated solutions
As a total supplier, the two well-established companies have the knowledge and financial capability to service the whole mining industry with integrated and innovative solutions. This will be achieved by developing and producing cost-effective mining and mineral processing equipment and solutions.
