Heavy-duty launch and recovery systems (HD LARS)

IHC Hytech’s HD LARS consist of a robust, rigid and heavy base and A-frame with a diver basket.

They are designed to lower two divers to the respective working depth. The two winches are mounted on the top of the aft frame to ensure that the lifting ropes are free from the operational area. This guarantees a safe operation for personnel, and provides easy access to the winches.

IHC Hytech delivers the LARS system and diving gear, such as helmet lights, video communication and surface umbilical connections.

Wet bell handling system (WBHS)

IHC Hytech’s WBHS consists of a strong, rigid and heavy base and A-frame with sheaves, as well as a top frame with hydraulic winches to hoist the bell and its clump weight, and a dive control container.

It is an open system that can be integrated in a vessel. It can be completed with a containerised decompression chamber (20ft), and various additional diving materials such as hot water suits, a hot water supply unit, diving suits and helmets, and various underwater tools.
