Types of gantries

A-frame gantries
Drag head and intermediate gantry, with integrated fender and suction pipe support and optional features such as buffers and swell compensators.
Trunnion gantries
Parallel and wagon-type gantries guide the trailing suction pipe connection (sliding piece) between both operational and storage locations.

Features

Hydraulic cylinders for accurate and controlled movement of the gantries with the hoisted suction pipe.
Wire sheaves are suitable for the selected wire rope and fitted with bearings to ensure smooth hoisting operations.

Swell compensators

Working in close harmony with the draghead gantries, our swell compensators optimise the drag head's contact with the seabed to ensure high production. At the same time, they compensate for vessel motion and seafloor level differences.
