Royal IHC has published its CSR Report 2025, providing an overview of the progress across sustainability, innovation, operational performance and strategic priorities. It also shows how the company is building on the recovery achieved in recent years. This creates a strong basis for the next phase of sustainable and profitable growth.

In 2025, Royal IHC strengthened its order book and reached important milestones in the dredging, offshore, mining and defence markets. The company also continued to invest in new technologies, R&D and sustainable solutions. In addition, Royal IHC further advanced its strategy for the 2026–2030 period. The strategy continues to focus on growth in high-tech systems, equipment and lifecycle services alongside the strengthening of shipbuilding activities internationally and in the Netherlands.

Innovation and knowledge development remain central to Royal IHC’s long-term strategy. The company took part in several national and international R&D programmes. It also expanded its patent portfolio to 420 granted patents. In addition, Royal IHC invested in technologies such as electrification, alternative fuels, digitalisation and operational efficiency. These developments support the company’s ambition to assist its end-clients in achieving more efficient and lower-emission maritime operations in the future.

The CSR Report 2025 also highlights the steps Royal IHC has taken to strengthen sustainable business operations. The organisation updated its Double Materiality Assessment. It also set clear ambitions for emissions reduction, safety, talent development and business integrity. The report provides transparent updates on progress in these areas. Since 2019, Royal IHC has decreased the combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by more than 45%, in line with the Company’s plan.
