Our Mighty dragon: an easy maintenance drag head

Dredging soils such as clay is difficult with a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD). Existing products not specially designed for this type of soil have to be cleaned regularly during operations – something which disrupts the overall dredging process. Our drag head Mighty dragon can control the layer thickness during this process and adds jet water at the right location to ensure smoother and more constant dredging, resulting in higher vessel uptime.
